Ryan Reed
Ryan was born in Farmington and raised in Winthrop, Maine. In his younger years, he spent most weekends in the winter skiing and snowmobiling while staying at his grandparents’ house in Stratton. Ryan attended the University of Maine at Orono where he studied Mechanical Engineering Technology before moving to Colorado.
During his time out West, Ryan worked in various jobs including timber frame carpenter, solar panel installer, and project manager for a packaging equipment manufacturer. Ryan and his wife Sarah moved back home to Maine so they could be closer to their families in 2017. They chose to land in Kingfield because of the small, down to earth community and great access to recreation. Ryan is a member of the Kingfield Trail Builders and enjoys getting out on the local trails whenever he can.
